What we do
At Dunkin Dawgs we specialize in making your your dog enjoy every minute they spend here. We have created programs so every dog can have the chance to enjoy a safe place to swim. Every dog can benefit from a visit to our K-9 Aquatic Center. Our indoor pool is heated to provide a comfortable experience for your dog. The dogs can swim in still water or, for more exercise, they can swim against a controlled water current, provided by the swim jets, in our large 8'X 20' pool. Our pool is equipped with 6 jets for a gentle soothing water massage between swim sets. Swimming is beneficial for hip dysplasia, arthritis, elbow dysplasia, degenerative joint disease, sports injuries, obesity, pain or discomfort. Warm water swimming allows the body to achieve increased mobility in stiff or sore joints, and, helps to build muscle mass around the affected area while the muscle, tendons and ligaments are moving in a near weightless environment. We do not practice therapy of any kind here at Dunkin Dawgs. We are a swim only facility.

Our business history
We opened for business Aug. 23rd. 2004. We have completely remodeled the building we occupy, since taking over the building on April 15th of this year.

The outside isn't done yet, if you happen to drive past, just remember, "you can't judge a book by it's cover". You will be seeing some exciting changes to the exterior in the next few weeks. Please stop by, and if you happen to have your dog with you, all the better.

About our staff
Owned by Nancy Long, a veterinary assistant for the last 5 years, her husband Ron Schoonover, and their three dogs. Ron and Nancy share a great love for animals and are dedicated to the health and fitness of their two golden retrievers and their very feisty miniature schnauzer. It is that dedication which led Nancy to pursue her interest in Canine Rehabilitation and led to the idea of Dunkin Dawgs. Nancy has taken classes in Canine Massage Therapy and is certified in Canine CPR and Canine Emergency First Aid. She is currently pursuing her certification in Canine Rehabilitation Therapy from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. Canine Rehab Institute
